At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we're pushing the boundaries of scientific innovation. As an Electron Optics and Instrumentation Expert, you'll be part of our Advanced Technology team, driving the development of next-generation Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEMs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop novel electron optics concepts based on solid scientific research.
- Collaborate with fellow scientists and engineers to develop and validate prototypes.
- Work with academic partners on joint development projects and participate in conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field.
- Protect the IP of the company by drafting patent applications.
Requirements:
- PhD degree in physics or other related engineering field with 2+ years working experience or MSc degree with 5+ years working experience.
- Previous experience on developing TEM electron optics and operating a TEM is an advantage.
- Worked in a multi-disciplinary high-tech development team.
- Experience in conducting experiments to validate designs.
- Track-record on developing advanced analytical instruments.
