Job Overview

As a Helmsman GVBW with Unilloyd, you will be responsible for navigating our LNG-powered inland tankers on the Rhine River. This role requires a strong command of nautical English, German, and Dutch, as well as valid certificates and diplomas, including a Sailor Licence AB, Rhine patent, VHF radio certificate, Radar diploma, and ADN Basic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Navigation and deck work on LNG-powered inland tankers
  • Administrative functions as required
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

  • Sailor Licence AB
  • Rhine patent for the Dutch part of the Rhine
  • VHF radio certificate
  • Radar diploma
  • ADN Basic
  • Good command of nautical English, verbal & written
  • Good command of nautical German, verbal & written
  • Good command of Dutch, verbal & written
