Job Title: Senior Engineer in Configuration Management

We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer in Configuration Management to join our team on a temporary basis for twelve months.

About the Role:

As Senior Engineer in Configuration Management, you will play a crucial role in managing the complete product configuration and ensuring the accuracy of product data throughout its lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulating configuration management processes
  • Training project teams
  • Ensuring compliance with configuration management procedures
  • Validating data
  • Monitoring configuration changes
  • Communicating findings to stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, preferably with experience in shipbuilding
  • Experience in configuration management and PDM/PLM systems (preferably 3DX), with proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail and an affinity for configuration management, data management, and change control
  • Ideal knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and the ability to define and improve processes
  • Excellent communication skills and technical proficiency to interpret and report on configuration data
  • Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing, with mastery of the Dutch language considered advantageous
