Job Title: Technical Services Manager

About the Role

As a Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in maintaining and optimizing our automation systems, building, and installations. Your primary focus will be on addressing technical challenges, optimizing machine and installation performance, and embedding these improvements into preventive maintenance plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 10-15 technicians to ensure the automation systems, building, and installations are in perfect working order.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the technical team to achieve optimal performance, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Facilitate participation in ongoing training and development programs to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of the team.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of maintenance activities, including analysis of maintenance data, to provide feedback for continuous improvement of maintenance procedures and policies.
  • Act as a key point of contact between the team of technicians, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, promoting a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and performance.
  • Manage maintenance contracts, conduct monthly and quarterly reviews with suppliers, and oversee the budget for maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Engineering team to further develop our technology landscape, aiming to improve quality, uptime, flow, and sustainability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, providing a solid foundation for facilitating technical problem-solving.
  • Strong management skills, with a preference for experience in leading technical teams in warehouse management/production systems.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, enabling clear communication both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to empower and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative and problem-solving-oriented work environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to explore logistics, engineering, and automation solutions.
