Job Title: Global Technology Owner Fermentation

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Technology Owner Fermentation to join our team. As a key member of our Global Technology group, you will be responsible for leading technology development for all unit operations in fermentation technology, with a special focus on cleaning effectiveness and hygienic design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive technology development for all unit operations in fermentation technology.
  • Responsible for technology scouting, including pilot assessments, to ensure DSM is constantly leveraging the latest developments.
  • Ensure end-to-end leadership across Operations to evaluate business attractiveness and drive growth and efficiency.
  • Own and drive global technology standardization of unit operations and best practices.
  • Provide URS for new line installations and actively participate in Capex projects.
  • Fuel continuous improvement of processes and technologies in the plants in terms of efficiency, yield, quality, safety, and sustainability.
  • Lead respective technology know-how management across the organization and maintain relevant communities of practice.

Requirements:

  • Master's in biotechnology, chemical engineering, or food engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including technology scale-ups.
  • Proven experience in technology development, scale-up, and large-scale implementation.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to build relationships in cross-functional and remote setups.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
