We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the hotel, providing exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate the hotel operations team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Manage daily hotel operations, including guest requests, complaints, and feedback
- Work closely with all departments to exceed guest expectations
- Participate in the emergency response team and report incidents involving guests and staff
- Support colleagues from all departments during busy periods
- Completed Hospitality or Hotel Management degree
- 1 year of work experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in Dutch, English, and possibly a second foreign language
- Strong communication skills, both in Dutch and English
- Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Starting salary €2699,- (scale 6 hospitality collective labor agreement)
