About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Operator to join our team at Richemont. As a Logistics Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our European warehouse in Amsterdam, which serves as a key hub for spare parts and finished product returns, as well as European e-commerce operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking and Fulfillment
    • Pick and pack spare parts and finished products based on picking lists for wholesalers, boutiques, repair platforms, and end-customers in Europe.
    • Verify picked orders for reference and quantity, and sort orders per client if necessary.
  • Shipping and Logistics
    • Create shipments in our ERP system (SAP) and carrier software for all orders to clients, including end-customers, wholesalers, boutiques, and RCS departments.
    • Print necessary shipping documents, including shipping labels, packing lists, and special delivery instruction labels.
    • Ensure proper packing of products for shipping, and recognize special destinations, such as non-EU countries, and create/export necessary documents.
  • Inbound/Reception
    • Receive new deliveries from various suppliers/carriers, verifying quality and quantity of parcels, and setting 'arrival flags' in our ERP system (SAP).
    • Check the contents of each parcel versus included documents, quantity, and quality, and notice claims.
    • Make necessary adjustments in our ERP system to maintain correct stock levels, and communicate claims to our central team via email and follow-up on them.
  • Customer Returns
    • Check returning spare parts and finished products from end-customers, wholesalers, and boutiques.
    • Receive products into correct storage locations via our ERP system (SAP).
    • Store actual products into correct physical locations, depending on type of product and quality.
    • Notice claims, make necessary adjustments in our ERP system to maintain correct stock levels, communicate claims to our central team via email, and follow-up on them.
  • Warehousing
    • Place items per brand and category into correct bin/stock locations (managed by reference).
    • Create new storage locations if not yet existing or too small.
    • Organize cupboards and other storage locations, keeping all storage bins well-organized.
    • Participate in annual and bi-annual stock takes according to guidelines.
    Requirements
    • MBO-level acquired by education or experience.
    • Experience with MS Office (preferable) and SAP knowledge (preferable).
    • Advanced knowledge of Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
    • Strong customer focus.
    • Hands-on mentality.
    • Accurate and good with numbers and figure series.
    • Coping with high demands.
