We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Planner to join our team at Picnic. As a Logistics Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, from coordinating with suppliers and carriers to managing transportation schedules and implementing improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Picnic's supply chain, focusing on part of the logistics network;
- Maintain and monitor Picnic's logistical relationship with our suppliers and/or carriers;
- Manage and adjust the transport schedule, with responsibility for day-to-day planning;
- Design, implement, and run improvement projects;
- Improve the safe working conditions for Picnic employees as well as contracted truck drivers;
- Work closely with our team to identify and implement process improvements;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and carriers;
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize logistics operations;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management;
- Preferably a finished MBO or HBO degree;
- 0-6 years of experience, preferably in the field of Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar;
- Stress-resistant and able to work in a high-paced environment;
- Talent for planning: able to turn 'it's not possible' into 'it's on the way';
- Creative and pragmatic: able to find original solutions for things that need to be fixed now;
- Responsible: able to work independently and have a confident personality;
- Great communicator: able to articulate problems and projects to all stakeholders;
- Fluency in both Dutch and English is required.
