We are seeking a talented Claims Underwriter to join our team in the Netherlands. As a Claims Underwriter, you will be responsible for analyzing and settling claims in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with our claims team, underwriters, and operations staff to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage claims related to professional liability, cyber, D&O, and AVB
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring prompt responses, clear communication, and a positive experience
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex claims
- Contribute to product and service development
- Support colleagues in the claims team
- Represent Hiscox at events
Requirements:
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in claims handling or a related field
- Strong knowledge of professional liability and affinity with cyber/ICT
- WFT certification or willingness to obtain it
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Fluency in Dutch and English
