About the Role
The Regulatory Model Management department at ABN AMRO Bank is a growing international team responsible for translating the bank's business strategy into the model landscape. This involves providing advice on the design or selection, implementation, oversight, and performance of the internal model landscape. Additionally, the team is responsible for maintaining the quality of the IRB credit risk (CR) models and the bank's related processes, procedures, and systems.
Your Responsibilities
- Participate in ongoing initiatives to develop and maintain the bank's model landscape.
- Provide quantitative, financial, and non-financial analyses to support the team's objectives.
- Offer clear and proper explanations of relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Contribute to the development of the credit risk model strategy.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
About You
- Academic education in a relevant field, such as econometrics, mathematics, actuarial studies, risk management, or finance.
- Proficiency in tools such as SAS or Excel.
- Experience with internships at financial institutions or regulatory bodies is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of statistics, banking products, regulatory reporting, or credit risk assessments.
- Excellent consulting and communication skills.
