Position Overview

As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough pre-delivery inspections of machinery destined for the Netherlands and other European regions. In the role of a Pre-Delivery Inspector (PDI), your primary focus will be to uphold the quality and operational readiness of our machines, ensuring they meet the highest standards before reaching our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform comprehensive Pre-Delivery Inspections on newly arrived machines, those in storage, and units prepared for shipment. This involves assessing both exterior and interior conditions, reviewing components and accessories, managing damage claims, and making necessary software and language adjustments.
  2. Generate detailed inspection reports and analyze trends related to any issues identified during the inspection process.
  3. Engage in root-cause analysis and work collaboratively with quality assurance, production, and engineering teams to resolve any concerns uncovered during the PDI.
  4. Install customer-specific options according to company guidelines and contribute to the development of new features.
  5. Assist with the loading and unloading of containers, providing support to field engineers as required.
  6. Maintain precise records of incoming machines and those that have successfully completed the PDI process, ensuring they are ready for delivery.
  7. Implement corrective measures for machines on hold, ensuring timely readiness for delivery.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in the Heavy Machinery sector, with a solid understanding of the Pre-Delivery Inspection process.
  2. Familiarity with aerial work platforms and mobile elevating work platforms is advantageous.
  3. Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  4. Possess a positive, proactive attitude.
  5. Exceptional attention to detail.
