Senior Product Control Operations Specialist

At ING, we are looking for a skilled Senior Product Control Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and monitoring of Product Control Reporting processes.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's or bachelor's degree, a minimum of 5-10 years of working experience, and in-depth knowledge of Derivatives products and Financial Risk drivers. They will also have good knowledge of the Financial Markets, Market Risk, and Operations environments.
The Senior Product Control Operations Specialist will be responsible for analysing issues experienced in the reporting process, identifying weaknesses in the (IT) value chain, and initiating the implementation of solutions. They will also liaise with colleagues from Trading Risk Management, ING Hubs, and Tech to create an environment of virtuous improvement and implement metrics to monitor the performance of the reporting processes.
We are looking for a colleague with analytical skills who takes decisions based on data and facts, strong resilience, and the ability to simplify complexity and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will also have a pro-active, creative, and out-of-the-box thinker, an open and transparent communicator, and an energetic, motivating person who can work as part of a team but also independently.
