Logistics Coordinator

As a key member of our Logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the logistics planning and control of multi-modal inbound and outbound shipments. This includes ensuring the timely arrival of our products worldwide, ensuring compliance with Dutch and international laws and regulations, and processing all import duties and obligations.

1. Ensure the efficient planning and execution of all shipping activities
2. Coordinate with third-party logistic suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
3. Plan, control, and coordinate all shipping activities in accordance with HMRC/customs regulations
4. Manage competitive contracts with freight suppliers and place purchase orders for the shipping of cargo and offsite storage
5. Coordinate and control the freight forwarders used for shipping in relation to company health and safety policies and purchasing procedures
6. Prepare shipping documentation in coordination with other departments
7. Compile and maintain trade compliance records

• MBO degree in Logistics or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in working in a similar position
• Proven experience with customs, international freight, and industry, incoterms
• A proactive attitude, eager to learn and develop, hands-on and accurate way of working
• Team player and a self-starter
• Fluency in English
