To fulfill this mission, we are seeking a Billing Specialist with robust accounting expertise to effectively manage all outgoing invoices.
Your Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in directly contributing to the company’s revenue growth. As a Billing Specialist, you will collaborate with a team to oversee the global billing platform. Your primary duties will include preparing, generating, and dispatching client invoices. This entails navigating a complex invoicing process, as each client and invoice presents unique requirements. You will be responsible for managing the entire invoicing workflow. Additionally, you will ensure accurate and comprehensive revenue allocation for financial forecasting and reporting purposes.
Moreover, you will:
- Assess agreements with each client and manage any exceptions.
- Respond to incoming customer inquiries, disputes, and intricate billing challenges.
- Track deadlines, maintain internal communication, and ensure efficient administrative operations.
- Oversee finance completeness checks related to contracts, pricing, and subscriptions.
- Deliver regular and precise reports of billing data.
- Facilitate a smooth tax process.
Furthermore, you will support projects aimed at automating and enhancing the billing and collection platform to foster the company’s future growth.
In this position, you will report to the Lead Billing & Collections and work closely with three other Billing Specialists and various teams within the Finance department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field;
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in billing, accounts receivable, or other pertinent accounting roles;
- Strong knowledge of invoicing and accounts receivable processes is highly preferred;
- Practical experience with accounting software is advantageous;
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy;
- High level of critical thinking and analytical skills;
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluent) and Dutch (strongly preferred);
- A resilient mindset with the ability to devise creative solutions to challenges.
