Senior Technical Officer

About the Role

The Department of Surgery, School of Clinical Medicine, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Officer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the operation of the Surgical Skills Centre and providing technical support to the maintenance and care of laboratory animals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the operation of the Surgical Skills Centre
  • Provide technical support to the maintenance and care of laboratory animals
  • Support workshops involving human cadaver and animal handling
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess a Bachelor's degree or above, with at least 3 years' relevant experience. An interest in handling laboratory animals is essential. You will also be required to work on Sundays and public holidays.
