Technical Application Management Engineer for Dynamic IT Environment

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Application Management Engineer to join our team at Working Spirit in Eindhoven/Heerlen. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a meaningful impact on our client's IT environment.

Job Description

This role is responsible for maintaining a stable application environment, including proactive improvements to monitoring and automation to enhance stability. The successful candidate will execute changes required on applications, troubleshoot incidents, and provide exceptional customer support as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and supervise the technical environment, ensuring seamless operation of applications.
  • Collaborate with customers to address technical queries and relay information to vendors for ongoing maintenance and updates.
  • Translate functional needs into effective technical solutions, building and deploying those solutions as necessary.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, peer-reviewing colleague's work to maintain high standards.
  • Analyze and design changes to resolve issues and implement version upgrades efficiently.
  • Assist in completing remaining project tasks, working closely with the project manager and various teams.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive experience with applications, pipelines, APIs, monitoring tools, databases, certificates, and Azure.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong customer focus and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with HBO level education in IT.
  • Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies and legacy upgrades in always-on services.
  • Detailed knowledge of IT areas such as Datacentres, Windows, Scripting, and documentation/reporting capabilities.

The ideal candidate possesses a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving orientation, fast results delivery, and effective communication skills. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate a clear focus on results, adhere to programming/IT quality standards, and be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary range of €45,000 - €60,000 per year (based on qualifications and experience), plus benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within our dynamic team.
