Research Scientist Molecular Biology and Sequencing

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Support experimental and pre-clinical projects in molecular biology and next-generation sequencing by executing standard operating procedures and interacting with stakeholders.
* Plan, execute, and interpret experimental work to develop new assays and technology, including assay automation.
* Document experimental results in electronic laboratory journals and present data in cross-functional meetings.
* Operate and maintain sequencing and lab-automation equipment.
* Complete tasks relating to laboratory operations under supervision of the Lab-manager.
**Requirements:**
* MS or BS degree with work experience in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Immunology, Oncology, Molecular Biology, or related discipline).
* Hands-on experience with basic molecular techniques such as DNA/RNA isolations, PCR amplification, preparation of sequencing libraries, and molecular cloning.
* Additional experience and affinity with operating and programming of lab-automation equipment is a plus.
* Authorization to work with GMOs.
* You must be authorized to work in The Netherlands.
