Background information

Within ASML, the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification and the development of ASML products. This assignment is within the department of D&E Sensors, with the aim of the department to introduce new products, corresponding processes and service requirements from development into (volume) production, while also providing support in connection with other sectors of the ASML organization.

Your assignment

In this department, the intern is asked to perform the following tasks:

Conducting data gathering, compilation and running statistical analysis for corresponding department(s). Draw up GUI based on the existing scripts used for Calibration Performance & Diagnostics test analysis using MATLAB. Improvement project for specified hardware, as well as increasing the user friendliness of the setup. Take part of overall improvement of the Cycle Time (CT) verification tool.

Your profile

To be a great match for this role, ideally you are:

Bachelor's student in mechanical, mechatronics, optics, electrical engineering, or other related disciplines. Have knowledge in gathering data, conducting statistical analysis. Proficiency in using MATLAB programming. Knowledge in object oriented programming is a plus. A team player, a self-starter, complimented with can-do mentality. Fluent in English.

Other requirements you need to meet:

This is a non-thesis related assignment, for minimum 6 months starting September 2024. Flexible working hours for minimum 24 hours per week, with a maximum of 40. You are enrolled at a higher education institutionfor the entire duration of the internship. You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you 're currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, please include in your CV/motivation letter willingness to relocate.
