Background information

The functional group of EUV dose control focuses on delivering the requested amount of light for wafer exposure. We deploy various types of sensor to measure, calibrate and control EUV light at source, reticle and wafer levels. Our challenge is to measure the light accurately while spending as short time as possible. Dose control engineers study the field machine behavior, create models, test the algorithm with different boundary conditions, and propose improvements. We would like to improve our diagnostic tools to become better and faster at diagnosing issues and taking insights.

Your assignment

Your task is to develop an efficient method to navigate and convert the dose control hardware data archives into MATLAB files that can then be easily processed and analyzed. Additionally, the formulation of test cases to perform quick and easy verification of dose control functions, methods and signal quality. 

These activities will be focused on:

The development of on-demand methods to covert parts of the Dose Control data output into MATLAB format.

Creation of MATLAB apps and functions to verify the correctness of dose control algorithms and procedures performed on the system and perform statistical analysis on the data to flag potential issues.

Migration of these analyses to test automation platforms.

Your Profile

To be a perfect match for this internship, you:

Are a bachelor or master student in (applied) Physics, Data Science or a related field.

Have experience with parallel computing,

Have knowledge of testing automation (e.g. Jenkins) and handling of large datasets.

Have a great understanding of MATLAB and have knowledge of (or an interest in learning) Python.

Have great communication skills in English both verbally and in writing.

​This is a bachelor or master internship with a duration of a minimum of 6 months, for 4-5 days a week, starting date August/September 2024.

Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of the internship.
