Within the EUV System Industrialization Performance team you will be assigned to a specific function/group of functions of the system and multiple projects. Together with the project you will drive better availability performance via reliability and diagnostics. You give insight in the current issues, steer the project to determine what to solve and assess together the impact of the solution. Further you influence the solution direction of the expert teams. You are the linking pin between customer support, D&E project and our industrialization department holding the key for one of ASML most important KPIs (availability).

Your main stakeholders are Development Engineering, System Engineering, Customer Support and product business line.

Role and responsibilities

On a day to day base your main activities will consist of:

Analysis of System Reliability/Availability with focus on root cause, impact and solution.

Definition of diagnostics solutions or improvement of existing ones to enable optimal MTTD

Drive for solutions in cooperation with the sectors and the development projects.

Ensure data quality is maintained for accurate availability predictions.

Actively work together with development engineering and sectors in identifying opportunities and risk for our future product to meet availability specifications.

Education and experience

Education

Technical Master of Science (e.g. Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial engineering).

Experience

Minimum of 3 years work experience in a multidisciplinary technical environment.

Familiar with Design architecture and/or service processes.

Experience in or affinity with the machine industry (production environment is a strong plus)

Broad knowledge (SW, mechanics, electronics, IT infra, Customer Support).

Able to shape new designs via critical availability areas.

Able towork in time and/or budget driven project environments.

Skills

Pro-active mind set, entrepreneur. Must have knowledge or experience with EUV Optics or Scanner Curious about current and future ASML EUV products, willing to learn and eager to explore other areas of machine design and industrialization. Has experience or is familiar with Availability engineering and other aspects of industrialization. Is able to diagnose factory and field issues related to the wafer handler and the wafer stage and its measurement systems or our new products Able to formulate accurate problem descriptions, drive improvements and is critical in verifying and validating the improvements with tests Has a continuous improvement mindset bringing back technical feedback to internal stakeholders of current projects and using this knowledge to affect the future new designs. Takes end to end ownership. Tries to explore solutions and resolve bottlenecks with stakeholders.
