**Contract Duration**
Visiting professionals are required to work full time for a period between three and six months (to be agreed prior to commencement).
**The Opportunity**
The International Criminal Court (ICC) investigates and, where warranted, tries individual charges with the gravest crimes of concerns to the international community: genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and crimes of aggression. The Court is participating in the global fight to end impunity, and through international criminal justice, the Court aims to hold those responsible accountable for their crimes and to help prevent the crimes from happening again. You can contribute to this cause by joining the ICC.
**Organisational Context**
The Human Resources Section provides a unified and coordinated approach to HR matters across the Court and carries out all human resources activities in an efficient and timely manner while serving as HR advisor to management within the Court. The Section is one of five sections located in the Division of Management Services.
The Section consists of two units: the HR Operations Unit and the HR Organisational Development Unit. The HR Operations Unit’s programme of work includes all operational aspects of the Section, from on-boarding to the administration of salaries, benefits and entitlements for staff members and non-staff (including judges, SSA consultants and contractors). The Unit plans, organises and administers staff services such as health insurance, pension schemes and other social security. The Unit supports the administration and settlement of (HR-related) staff complaints and grievances. The Unit is responsible for the maintenance of related staff data in the Court’s Enterprise Resource Planning system, including staff master data.
The HR Organisational Development Unit is in charge of devising strategies, programmes and policies to ensure that the Court hires and develops the right staff and thus maximizes the return on investment in human resources. Particularly, this includes an organisation-wide role in relation to strategic workforce planning, talent management, organisational design, staff training and learning and development programmes and activities, performance management and managerial development.
**Duties and Responsibilities**

Under the direct supervision of a (Associate/Senior) Human Resources Officer, the HR Visiting Professional will contribute to:
**Internal Communications / Tracking**
- Contributing to the design and communication strategies that support key HR and various business objectives, long-term goals, and projects;
- Implementing communications designed to support key projects and initiatives, including drafting, editing, proofreading, and layout of content, in partnership with the HR team;
- Exploring new tools and tactics, in partnership with the HR team that support the various projects of the HR Section;
**Outreach / Branding**
- Developing compelling and engaging editorial, multimedia and digital content to be disseminated across multiple talent outreach channels, such as websites, social media, newsletters, in partnership with the relevant stakeholders;
- Providing active support in designing, executing and evaluating global employer branding and recruitment campaigns;
- Assisting with the development and implementation of a targeted global talent outreach Strategy that is aligned with corporate goals and priorities;
- Developing and implementing targeted recruitment campaigns and other priority recruitments;
Depending on the background of the selected VP the combination of duties will be decided, and may vary from the above.
**Essential Qualifications**
- Education:_
Advanced University degree in human resources management, communications, public relations, IT, or other related social science field.
- Experience:_
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in human resources management, digital marketing, brand management, public relations, talent acquisition, communications or other related field in an international organization and/or large corporation is required;
- Employer branding, recruitment marketing, relationship management, digital content creation experience would be a strong asset;
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_
- Strong ability to write and edit communication materials, ability to express clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form;
