**We offer**:
For our client, the luxurious Hotel Okura in Amsterdam, we are looking for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager. In this role, you will assist the Housekeeping Manager in their responsibility for the quality of our services. In this position, we offer you:

- A gross hourly wage between €16.34 and €18.01 per hour
- Salary payment every 4 weeks, meaning 13 payments per year
- 8% holiday allowance, paid in May
- 10.5% vacation time accrual and a 5% year-end bonus
- An 8-month employment contract with a one-month probation period and the prospect of a permanent contract
- Training and development opportunities to help you continue growing.

**Your job**:
As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will work in an environment with high-quality standards. You’ll lead a team that includes supervisors and several cleaning staff. Your weekly tasks will include:

- Ensuring all agreements with the hotel are followed, such as cleaning duties, quality reports, and daily inspections.
- Selecting and onboarding new staff, building your own team.
- Acting as the main point of contact for both the client and your team, making sure everything runs smoothly, even if it means stepping in to help with operations.

You'll work between 32 and 38 hours a week, and you may need to work some weekends. The tasks are varied, so every day will be different, offering plenty of variety and challenges.

**You are**:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

- You have completed an MBO (vocational) degree, preferably in Facility Management or Hotel Management.
- You have leadership experience in the field of cleaning.
- You are willing to work on weekends.
- You have a good command of Dutch and/or English (this is a requirement).
- Preferably, you also speak other languages besides Dutch and English.
- It is an advantage if you have experience working in a 5-star hotel or similar environment.
