Group Financial Reporting Controller

**The job**
As a Group Financial Reporting Controller you will be a member of our Consolidation & Reporting team. The team led by **Lionel Parry** currently consists of 7 team members based in our Rotterdam office. You will manage the group financial reporting activities for the full Cefetra Group. Your tasks and responsibilities will relate to:

- Collaborate internationally: Work closely with (senior) financial representatives across the Cefetra Group, assisting them in their monthly group reporting process.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness: Deliver accurate and timely group financial reports at the end of each period in accordance with IFRS requirements.
- Prepare and analyse: prepare (consolidated) financial statements for the Cefetra Group and analyse and understand the main drivers of results and KPIs for the Cefetra Group.
- Gain market insights: gain an understanding of forward positions, trading strategies, commodity markets, and hedging strategies.
- Contribute actively: Participate in finance team meetings with valuable figures, analysis, and opinions.
- Support M&A processes: Assist in M&A processes in the onboarding for the financial reporting process (such as integrating the financial reporting, PPA support, engaging with entities).

**Who you are**
To be successful within Cefetra, it is important to have a 'self-starter' mentality, to be open-minded, accurate and curious. You should be able to work both independently and with people from all levels within the Cefetra Group. You should also be able to identify with the following requirements:

- Your educational background is equivalent to a Master degree in Business Administration or Accountancy.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in an international business environment as a (financial) controller or accountant, preferably with consolidation experience. Big 4 experience is a strong advantage.
- you are IT savvy with strong experience with Microsoft Excel, BI tools and preferably with consolidation tools.
- You possess strong verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English
