Spares in Motion supports wind turbine owners and operators to source wind turbine spare parts and refurbishment of components for their wind turbines. Spares in Motion offers these services to those companies that perform maintenance on wind turbines in Europe, Asia and North America requiring wind turbine spare parts. Furthermore, Spares in Motion manages the refurbishment of minor and main components for our customers, by partnering with specialized workshops in the industry.

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will perform typical warehouse operations (receiving, picking and packing) and ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the warehouse. Working with the Manager Order Fulfillment, Warehouse & Logistics, you will also supervise the daily activities of team members to make sure the workload stays on track and that orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.

As a Warehouse Team Leader you have strong leadership skills and are able to communicate clearly and effectively with your team members.

**Typical Hours**

40 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 08.00 until 16.30.

**Responsibilities**

As a Warehouse Team Leader at Spares in Motion, you will be an essential part of our operations team. Your key responsibilities include:

- Perform and coordinate warehouse operations including accurately receiving, packing and preparing customer orders for shipment.
- Plan, prioritize and allocate work to team members to ensure optimal productivity.
- Inspect incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy, check for damage, and confirm compliance with company standards.
- Ensure products are handled safely and efficiently to minimize damage and delays.
- Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
- Ensure that the warehouse is safe, clean and tidy and that health and safety rules are followed at all times.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss process improvements and address challenges.
- Train and develop team members on proper warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Together with the Manager Order Fulfillment, Warehouse & Logistics, resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team and address performance concerns.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment.

**Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications**
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and address issues in warehouse operations.
- Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, packing, and inventory control.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- In possession of a forklift certificate (or willing to get one on company’s expenses).
- Good communication skills in English (verbally and in writing).
