We are looking for a passionate Cost Engineering Advisor at our location Arnhem who will contribute to this and that might be you? **Your contribution to TenneT**: - As a Cost Engineering Advisor, you are the ambassador and expert in the field of Cost Engineering. You know and develop the internal policy, ensure quality and support in the form of preparing budgets based on project specifications and planning. Tasks and responsibilities include: - **Prepare multi-disciplinary cost estimates **for big scale (>billion euro) offshore projects - **Coordinate and discuss** estimating input with project team members and technical experts available in the organisation to **ensure quality** of the estimation - Perform **cost reconciliations** to previous estimates as project develops - Set up and maintain **price lists** in cooperation with contract manager, strategic buyer and technical experts for our tenders - Assess **cost calculations** of claims and variation orders we receive from contractors and suppliers **Your profile and background**: - Minimum Bachelor degree, e.g. in **Construction, Engineering, Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering**: - You have **at least 6 years of working experience** in activities similar to those mentioned in the tasks and responsibilities, preferably in an organization comparable to TenneT and within the offshore industry - Preferably **CCT and/or CCE** certificate - You are **accurate**, result driven, **communicative**, conscious and **analytical **and people around you would describe you as a helpful person, who can **easily build relationships**, knows how to get a thorough understanding of projects and is able to encourage people based on **personality**: - Fluent in Dutch, **business-fluent in spoken and written English** **Our recruiting process**: **Our offer**: **We are family friendly and flexible** - Health - your basis - Modern working environment - Attractive remuneration and social benefits - Personal development **This will be our challenge**: - Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition.
