We are now looking for a Supply Planner for DeJong Verpakking by Stora Enso.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
The Supply & Demand Planning department is an essential part of our Supply Chain, consisting of four sub-departments: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, and Production Planning. Our production activities, seasonal and based on customer and inventory orders, take place in our two factories.
As a Supply Planner, you ensure timely availability and inventory of raw materials and semi-finished products (including base paper and preprint) for both internal production, external production, and finished goods (trading items). Orders are placed within framework contracts. You allocate volumes, process, and evaluate forecasts used for the ordering system. You manage the inventory levels of various storage locations and plan the orders that will take place within a few days to a maximum of 6 weeks. You adjust daily and weekly as needed due to changes in the factory process.
Furthermore, the following tasks are part of this role:
- Developing the production plan for suppliers considering lead times, inventory, production capacity, and storage capacity;
- Discussing the production plan with external production, work preparation, and inventory management;
- Planning and determining (weekly) the required quantities of raw materials based on the production plan, established forecast historical data, and considering the inventory policy;
- Placing orders for the required raw materials and materials from fixed suppliers, considering framework contracts, lead times, and reception hall occupancy;
- Assisting with quarterly inventory counts and the annual audit;
- Attending and actively participating in internal and external meetings.
What we are looking for:
- You have demonstrable HBO-level education and thinking;
- You have experience as a planner;
- Language skills: Dutch (required), English (required), and German (preferred);
- You are critical and pay attention to details;
- You can quickly switch between various tasks and maintain an overview.
