**About the Role**

The RoW Payments Compliance Team serves as the single point of contact to review compliance requirements, identify how they affect our business, structure a solution proposal to obtain exemptions and / or comply with regulatory requirements, work with XF stakeholders to prioritize and implement the solution and tackle the day to day activities related to AML, TM, Adverse Media, etc policies

**What You'll Do**
- Create the RoW Payments Compliance operational framework (i.e. intake and triaging process, R&Rs, capacity planning, etc)
- Lead a global team based in all mega regions (LATAM, EMEA, US&C, APAC) to tackle new and existing payments compliance related matters
- Structure the team's workload to guarantee delivery but avoid overwork / churn
- Create relationships with XF teams across Uber such as Legal, Policy, Product, LoBs, etc
- Liase with regulators across the globe on a regular basis
- Be comfortable navigating from a high level / strategy focused stance to a highly detailed / hands-on work mode when required

**What You'll Need**
- Proven experience of +10 years in the compliance / payments compliance landscape
- Proven knowledge around AML, Transaction Monitoring, and banking / fintech compliance as a whole
- Experience as a manager of compliance teams
- Fluent business Portuguese is a must

**Bonus Points If**
- Master degree is preferred
- Previous experience in a matrix environment
- Fluent Spanish is preferred
