**About the role**:
In this pivotal role, you will oversee and continuously improve the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes. You will transform complex financial data into clear insights and translate these into business opportunities. Your day-to-day responsibilities range from owning management and Board reporting, developing robust BI dashboards, and collaborating across departments, to leading financial assessments for vendor contracts and M&A projects.

You are a connector between data and strategy, and an enabler of growth. Your leadership ensures the finance team functions as a true business partner, embedded in the organization’s ambitions and decision-making processes.

**Key responsibilities include**:
- Leading and improving budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles- Delivering timely and relevant financial reports for the leadership team and Board- Translating financial data into actionable strategic insights- Managing and optimizing vendor contracts from a financial and commercial perspective- Overseeing financial due diligence, modeling, and integration for M&A activities- Driving adoption and development of Business Intelligence tools in collaboration with internal teams and external BI partners- Identifying opportunities for financial and operational performance improvements across departments- Supporting cross-functional alignment of financial performance with business strategy

**What about you**:
We are looking for a Finance Director with:
- Proven leadership experience in a senior finance role within a dynamic, fast-paced organization- Strong background in FP&A, strategic finance, and financial business partnering- A hands-on approach to financial modelling and reporting, with high proficiency in Excel- Experience with Power BI and developing internal reporting tools and dashboards- Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to distill complex data into strategic insight- A track record in contract evaluation and supporting M&A processes- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, in both Dutch and English- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to develop and coach a team of finance professionals- A mindset aligned with our core values: Stimulating, Committed, Ownership, and Reliable.
