You really make an impact at TAUW. As an international consultancy and engineering firm, we work daily on a vital and sustainable living environment. As Proposition Manager (PM), you lead the development and lifecycle of TAUW’s propositions with service, (digital) products, platforms, and/or tools that support clients in achieving environmental, sustainability, and regulatory goals. Operating at the intersection of environmental science, technology, and client success, you ensure that TAUW’s solutions deliver measurable impact, comply with evolving regulations, and align with strategic sustainability frameworks. For this position, you are willing to travel to our local offices and teams in Europe (up to 20% of the time).

**Proposition Vision & Strategy**: Define the vision and roadmap for sustainability-focused propositions. Align proposition strategies with (sustainability) goals (Net Zero, CSRD, SFDR, GHG Protocol, etc.) and client priorities. Translate complex environmental requirements into product features that offer operational value to clients.
**Market & Regulatory Analysis**: Monitor regulations and sustainability standards across key markets (EU, NL, GE, etc.). Stay informed on industry trends (climate tech, circular economy, biodiversity reporting). Identify opportunities for innovation.
**Stakeholder Collaboration**: Collaborate with internal experts, consultants, data scientists, and external partners. Work closely with clients to understand pain points and define value propositions. Liaise with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to align messaging, value propositions, and client onboarding.
**Proposition Development & Delivery**: Own and maintain the proposition backlog; write clear user stories and acceptance criteria. Lead agile product development cycles and ensure timely delivery of features. Prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with environmental objectives.
**Client Success & Go-To-Market (GTM) Support**: Contribute to GTM strategies for TAUW’s solutions. Support pre-sales and client engagements with product expertise. Ensure onboarding, training, and client feedback loops are integrated into product evolution.
**Metrics & Impact Tracking**: Define and track KPIs related to client outcomes (e.g. CO₂ reduction, regulatory compliance rates, audit success). Measure product success beyond usage, focusing on environmental and ESG performance metrics. Drive continuous improvement using qualitative and quantitative data.
Wat jou de ideale aanwinst maakt
To fit in this position, we require at least a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, an additional degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability, or related field is a strong advantage. You complement this with 3-7 years of experience in product management, preferably in sustainability tech, ESG software, or environmental services. Furthermore, you recognize yourself in these competences:
Experience in B2B-consulting in regulated sectors and successfully developing and executing product and proposition strategies.
You communicate clearly, present convincingly, and easily connect at all levels. You are fluent in English, other languages are a plus (e.g. German, French).
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making. You are comfortable with data models, APIs or integrations with client systems
You are able to balance regulatory requirements with client priorities while linking sustainability outcomes to tangible business value such as risk reduction, enhanced reputation, and operational efficiency.
Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Tableau, carbon accounting, or other sustainability software tools is a plus.
Understanding of environmental science, ESG frameworks, and sustainability reporting standards is considered a plus.
