This is a unique opportunity to join our highly successful Netherlands Investment Banking team based in Amsterdam. Our team covers medium
- to large-sized multinational corporations as well as financial sponsors with a product focus on M&A, Equity, (Leveraged) Debt Capital Markets and Risk Management. We work seamlessly with sector and product teams in London, New York and around the world. This position allows you to both sharpen your technical and interpersonal skills, and to work on exciting international projects. The Netherlands team has a strong track record having announced a multitude of M&A and financing transactions this year alone and is seeking an individual to contribute to the further success of the team and building out the franchise further.

Step into the role of an Associate, where you will:

- Assist in both origination and execution activity, supporting the team and taking day-to-day operational lead role on transactions
- Undertake company valuations, capital structure analyses and other financial modelling
- Undertake research and monitor developments / trends for companies in coverage universe
- Prepare origination and execution materials for clients and internal presentations and memoranda
- Provide support to senior bankers in developing and maintaining client relationships, income streams or new business opportunities
- Supervise and mentor the analyst and intern population
- Attend client meetings and presentations
- Grow with the success of the team and progress through your career as an Investment Banker

To be successful as an Investment Banking Associate you should have:

- A solid academic background (a minimum of bachelor’s degree)
- Relevant Investment Banking (corporate finance/M&A) experience or equivalent required
- Languages: Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages is helpful, Dutch speaking proficiency preferred

This role is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
