Are you passionate about the Meat business and looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic trading office?
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Product Development Manager to support trading office strategy in products development and management control from suppliers ensuring high quality in cuts and packaging including Cogs optimization.
A selection of your responsibilities within your mission:
- Product strategy; support the execution of products development incl. own brand
- Recommend/support and challenge innovation in trading office
- Product development;
- Oversee the entire products lifecycle, from conception to launch including existing assortment and seeking new business solutions
- Develop and optimize all product specifications according to marker needs and strategy
- Ensure best practice development within the trading office supplier portfolio
- Support trading office supplier portfolio on FSD assortment development & Procurement Policy guidelines implementation
- Support trading office with implementation of new business initiatives in the countries
- Manage all information flows between all involved trading office departments
- Support implementation of strategic new business model
- Sustain and develop Meat products know-how and training of trading office team members
- Professional communication on project status regularly

**Qualifications**
If you are
- Communicatively strong
- Experienced in the Meat industry/business (all categories such as pork, poultry & beef)
- Experienced with Cogs optimization and balanced buying
- Customer oriented and strategically strong
- Curious and assertive
- Accurate, result oriented and capable of sharing your knowledge
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
And
- A challenging target doesn’t scare you
- Willing to travel for business
- Have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in meat productions and experience in business development incl. minimum vocational training with additional certifications
- Have a good insight in Sourcing and Procurement
- Are positive with an entrepreneurial mindset
