What You Can Help Us With
As the Head of Categories & Procurement, you will shape and lead our category management and procurement strategies to drive growth, innovation, and competitive advantage. You will take ownership of the end-to-end process, from strategic sourcing and supplier partnerships to product planning and pricing, ensuring that our offerings meet business objectives and deliver value across the organization. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to balance long-term vision with operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize performance and strengthen our market position.

A selection of your daily activities
Category Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute category and pricing strategies to drive growth and competitiveness.
  • Analyze markets to identify trends, customer needs, and innovation opportunities.
  • Continuously assess product portfolio performance to optimize mix, pricing, and inventory.

Category Margin Growth

  • Maximize margins through effective pricing, cost analysis, and supplier collaboration.
  • Identify cost-reduction opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Optimize assortment and pricing structures to achieve profitability targets.

Cost-Effective Procurement Management

  • Lead efficient, compliant, and cost-effective procurement operations.
  • Drive strategic sourcing to improve cost savings, quality, and supplier reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing category and procurement teams.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear goals, provide feedback, and support professional growth.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Define KPIs to track growth, margins, procurement efficiency, and supplier performance.
  • Analyze and report on results, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Maintain strong data systems to support decisions and transparency.

Job Requirements
What you bring to the table
Proven Category management experience, preferably in gift cards or gaming

Leadership experience (8+ years).

University (WO) degree in Marketing or Commercial studies (preferred).

Proven track record of successfully managing multi-million-eurodollar procurement portfolios across various categories.

Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills to manage complex supplier relationships and internal stakeholders.

Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders across functions, build alignment, and inspire action.
