Training Coordinator

We are looking for a talented
Training Coordinator to join our Competence Development Team at Neste.

You will have the opportunity to join a Team of passionate professionals creating a healthier planet for our children.

This position is a temporary assignment of 6 months. The contract might be extended based on need and / or performance.

Your part in the Competence Development Team

In this role, you will be part of a Competence Development Team whose main objective is to ensure that the organisation has the required critical knowledge and skills, to successfully continue the sustainable and safe operations.

In your role, you will:

• Plan and coordinate on- and off-site training activities for employees working in various roles in our Rotterdam refinery.
• Develop and manage an integrated overall plan including various activities and learning paths over different disciplines.
• Act as a key user of the learning management system, including the learning path creation, data handling, training record follow up etc.
• Manage and maintain in-house training facilities, handle logistics for training activities including the venues and training equipment.
• Develop training aids such as manuals, handbooks and content supporting successful learning outcomes.
• Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training and on-the-job coaching.
• Design and apply assessment tools to ensure training effectiveness.
• Track and report on training outcomes.

You will work closely with the site organisation and the learners to support their development and ensure that the learning paths are delivered effectively and on time. Our work combines accountability, cooperation, and the desire to develop and renew. Working safely at all times is essential to all of us.

We have an international team of experts supporting the organisation by developing learning and development structures and processes for the organisation.

The best combination to success in this challenging role

• Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or knowledge of adult learning theory and principles.
• Excellent planning and organising skills and ability to manage several simultaneous activities.
• Hands-on experience of planning and coordinating training activities in an international environment.
• Service mindset, "Can do" attitude and passion for continuous development and learning.
• Knowledge and experience about learning management systems.
• Skills to facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom workshops and online training.

We also value

• Studies or degree in Education, Training, Project management or related field.
• Fluency in English. Dutch is a Plus.
• Relevant experience with instruction and training.
• Experience in a refinery environment.
• Analytical thinking skills and ability to make conclusions based on data analysis.
• Knowledge and skills about Google tools.
