We are looking for an energetic, innovative and experienced Global Head of Marketing & Business Development able to set a clear marketing vision and growth strategy while inspiring the teams to achieve it.

Focused on the genetic progress of plants, Limagrain breeds, produces and distributes field seeds, vegetable seeds and agri-food products

Combining decades of experience with state-of-the-art technology, we breed, develop, produce and market varieties and seeds in a wide range of vegetable crops around the world.

If you are ready for a new challenge and want to be part of the No1 Vegetable Seed Group, a major scope of your Head of Marketing & Business Development accountability will be:

  • Developing and implementing the Global Marketing strategy by providing clear guidance to the marketing team, setting up the growth assumptions per crop and geography, go-to-market strategies, customer segmentation, portfolio strategy and product life cycle management
  • Leading the portfolio management and steering the crop strategy implementation through the established cross-functional Crop teams
  • Building strong brand awareness and positioning of our company's brand by creating a clear and compelling communication strategy and organizing company international conferences, trade shows, and major events
  • Leading the business development by identifying different product collaborations opportunities and partnerships to grow our footprint and complement our portfolio, as well as playing a key role in any potential M&A projects
  • Working closely with our sales department to develop a pricing strategy to maximize profits and market share
  • Contribute for an effective inventory management by defining clear crop market segment targets and working closely with Supply, Production and Sales in monitoring the inventory optimization plan execution
  • Being an important member of Hazera's Strategic Leadership team co-developing the business strategy
  • Being part of the Limagrain's Marketing Management Leadership Team and contributing to the Groups Marketing Strategy, objectives and key strategic initiatives
  • Collaborating closely with the other Limagrain vegetable seed companies to build strategic crop reviews, ensuring alignment, key learnings and best practice sharing

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in business, life science marketing, communications, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in agriculture, in senior management roles, preferably in the seed business
  • Executive experience in all aspects of Marketing-management within a global, large and complex organization
  • Successful change management and company strategy transition track record
  • Experience in running a diverse multinational marketing team in B2B international markets
  • Act as a key collaborator and a team player in the SLT
  • Ability to work in dynamic and high-pressure environment without transmitting stress and ambiguity to the team
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% across the world
  • Fluent in English, any additional languages are a plus
