Working as a Business Development Manager at GXO Logistics - Eindhoven

Our Business Development Team is expanding As our Business Development Manager you will be responsible for generating new opportunities, continually improving our market position and leading complex sales projects across Belgium & Netherlands .

This is a perfect opportunity for a passionate individual with expertise in influential networking and sales project management within Contract Logistics (3PL) sector.

We offer a hybrid work which means you can work from the most convenient location for you and meet with the rest of our Business Development team in Eindhoven 2-3 per week.

What does your day look like in the role of our Business Development Manager:

  • Initiating new, leveraging existing and developing strong business relationships that lead to a pipeline of new business opportunities and gaining new business

  • Managing large scale and complex sales projects

  • Leveraging various sales channels to prospect including existing relationships, external events, and networking, representing GXO brand

  • Helping and guiding internal colleagues in developing logistics solutions with new businesses

  • Supporting development focused on customer needs

  • Customer engagement

What do you need to be successful:

  • Excellent understanding of contract logistics (3PL) sector

  • Extensive experience in various sales activities and leading large

  • Good awareness of finance, negotiation skills, and legal.

  • Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch and French are nice to have

  • Effective communication skills, team spirit, pro-active and forward-thinking approach
