Tech Lead Global Data & Analytics Platform (GDAP)

Deliver a secure, scalable, and high-performing data platform that enables Rabobank to achieve its strategic goals in digitization, compliance, and sustainability.

You & your role

As Tech Lead GDAP, you will be the driving force behind high-performing teams working on Rabobank's Global Data & Analytics Platform. You will set the standard for engineering culture, foster innovation, and ensure our platform is secure and loved by users. Imagine leading squads through complex transitions, optimizing offshoring, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. As Tech Lead, you are pivotal in shaping the future of data-driven banking.

• Increase the maturity level of GDAP squads and ensure value creation for Rabobank.
• Stimulate and further implement agile working across teams.
• Expand and optimize offshoring for enhanced delivery.

Facts & figures

• 36 or 40 hours per week.
• You will collaborate with 3–4 fellow Tech Leads and indirectly with 20 other Tech Leads within Data & Analytics.
• Rabobank serves 9.5 million customers worldwide.

• Guide and coach squads towards autonomy and high performance, ensuring continuous improvement and value creation for Rabobank.
• Lead stakeholder management and prioritize work in collaboration with product owners and solution architects, aligning with Rabobank's strategic objectives.
• Identify, initiate, and implement process improvements in a constantly evolving environment, keeping squads engaged and motivated.

You will report to a Senior Tech Lead and play a pivotal role within the Tech4D&A domain, supporting the GDAP tribe. Your position is central to Rabobank's data-driven strategy, enabling bank-wide impact and supporting key objectives such as compliance, customer insights, and sustainability.

You & your talent

• Academic working and thinking level.
• At least 5 years of experience in similar roles within complex IT environments.
• Comfortable with a span of control of approximately 30–50 employees.
• Knowledge of and experience with DevOps teams and scaled Agile (SAFe).
• Relevant experience with issues in complex data environments.
• Extensive experience in software development and management.
• Experience in guiding DevOps teams in transition.
• Demonstrable results in guiding teams towards autonomy and high performance.
• Affinity and passion for digitization and Cloud technology.
