Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Bicycle Mechanic, located in Amsterdam. The Bicycle Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and conducting repairs on a variety of bicycles. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting bikes for signs of wear, replacing damaged or worn-out parts, tuning up bike systems, and ensuring that all work performed meets safety standards. The role also entails providing excellent customer service, including explaining repair needs and maintenance tips to clients.

Qualifications

  • Bicycle Repair, Bike Repair, and general Bike Maintenance skills
  • Knowledge of Bicycles and related systems
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Passion for cycling and the cycling community is beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in mechanics or related field is preferred
