Your new role

This position plays a central role in enabling data-driven decision-making across our commercial teams and senior stakeholders. You will develop actionable insights, build new market models, and use analytics to shape strategy and guide key initiatives. The role suits someone who enjoys collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, has a strong analytical mindset, and can translate complex data into clear, compelling stories that support commercial impact.

What you'll do: 

  • Act as a data-driven partner to commercial teams and the NL leadership team—participating in meetings, understanding priorities, and constructively challenging approaches to strengthen decision-making.
  • Develop insights on new customer groups and segments (e.g., Private Market, E-Health) and contribute to innovative Go-to-Market models.
  • Build and maintain market models for key therapeutic areas such as Obesity, Cardiovascular disease, and MASH.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights using tools such as MS Excel and PowerBI—always considering usability and commercial impact.
  • Apply advanced analytics where value adding (AI/LLM models, Marketing Mix, Next Best Action, Network Analytics).
  • Collaborate with Commercial Excellence, Customer Experience, Marketing, Sales, Medical and international colleagues to ensure alignment and share relevant insights.
  • Work with external data vendors and technical partners to ensure high data quality, optimise infrastructure, and support advanced analytics.
  • Monitor market developments and prepare insightful business updates.

Your new department

The Customer Engagement (CE) department brings together Customer & Market Insights, digital capabilities, and channel expertise to support the Dutch organisation. We provide timely insights, integrate digital channels into the Go-to-Market model, and challenge teams with objective, data-driven viewpoints. CE team members are embedded in cross-functional teams and play a key role in driving commercial decision-making.

Your skills & qualifications

The ideal candidate is proactive, takes ownership, and thrives in a dynamic and growing environment. You have strong problem-solving skills, a high level of trustworthiness, and consistently deliver high-quality work on time. You enjoy building strong relationships across the business—especially within commercial teams—and think with both a patient and customer focus.

You will bring:

  • Master's degree with 3-7 years of experience in data analytics, ideally within a commercial organisation
  • Strong modelling skills in MS Excel and solid working knowledge of PowerBI
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and high analytical level, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations
  • Experience with data warehouses, MS Fabric and/or Snowflake is an advantage
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage, not a must
  • Fluent command of both English and Dutch is mandatory
