Coolset is the ESG & supply chain platform for compliance-first teams. We help companies like Heineken, Bynder and Karl Lagerfeld measure, manage and improve their sustainability disclosures, simplifying complex regulations to enable real impact.

Founded in 2022 and backed by a remarkable group of early-stage investors, we're a fast-growing company of 20 ambitious engineers, designers, researchers and commercial talent based in Amsterdam.

What you will do

As a Design PM, you will report directly to our founders and own the product development process end-to-end: from strategy and concept to execution and iteration. You will be working on all aspects of the product – from design to coordinating product developments with our engineering team. As our design PM, you will strongly influence what we build, how we build it, and how we create an exceptional user experience for our customers. You will own and evolve the user experience from concept to launch, directly shaping how customers interact with our platform.

We currently have six products across three modules that are all built on the same 'Coolset Base' infrastructure: Carbon management, ESG compliance, and Supply chain integrity.

You will cover:

• Product strategy – Partner with our founders to shape and own the product vision, set priorities, and define requirements to create an exceptional customer experience

• Product design – Lead the design process end-to-end: sketch early concepts, build interactive prototypes in Figma Make/Lovable, and refine every detail to pixel-perfect quality before launch

• Product execution – Turn strategy into beautiful, functional deliverables. Manage timelines, coordinate across teams, and ensure design intent is carried through to production

• Product feedback – Work with sales, marketing, CS, and user feedback loops to uncover insights and translate them into design improvements that delight our customers

• Company building – Deploy systems and processes to scale our impact beyond headcount. Embrace automations and AI driven workflows to multiply productivity, reduce friction, and empower every team to operate at a higher level of efficiency and creativity.

Finally, you'll be expected to run sprint planning, manage the product backlog, and ensure we collectively ship high-quality products that meet our users' expectations. We have no product managers or product owners: this is a true 360° product role.

Career

As you step into your role, you'll work directly with our founders to gain a deep understanding of our product and development lifecycle.

You'll sit between all teams at Coolset, shaping what we build and putting the systems and processes in place that let our engineering efforts scale.

As we grow, your role will naturally expand – whether that's into product management, design leadership, or whatever best matches your ambitions.

Your profile

• You are fluent in English
• You take a hands-on approach and get excited by rapid experimentation
• You know what a well-functioning b2b SaaS product org looks like
• You're analytical, comfortable with assumptions and incomplete information
• You're slightly technical and can communicate effectively with engineers on technical concepts, constraints, and trade-offs. You also have no problem automating tasks – even where complex logic is involved
• You are based in or around Amsterdam and eager to build alongside a growing team

Our process

• 30-min video screen: Over Zoom, we get to know you and answer any questions that you have about the role
• 60-min case interview: You will prepare and work through a case study of a theoretical product challenge we're facing
• 2 hour product co-build session & team lunch: get to know the team through hands-on work, and join one of our lunches
• If successful: An offer within 48 hours to join Coolset
