We bieden met SILFO openbaar en algemeen bijzonder onderwijs, met onze scholen voor primair en voortgezet onderwijs. Daarbij richten we ons ook op het verzorgen van internationaal onderwijs.
In het onderwijs wordt aandacht geschonken aan persoonsvorming door kennis opdoen en leren, maar zeker ook door competenties te ontwikkelen en door dóen. De aandacht voor persoonlijke, sociale en culturele ontwikkeling kenmerkt ons onderwijs. Goed onderwijs en je thuis voelen is dus de basis van SILFO, waar je gestimuleerd wordt je talenten te ontdekken en te ontwikkelen.

What can you expect from us?- A temporary replacement appointment starting from November 2025;
- Salary grading takes place in scale LB (min. € 3.301,- max € 5.277,-) regarding collective agreement for secondary education (CAO VO);

- You have a relevant degree, are eligible to work in the EU and you have a DUO recognized teaching qualification;
- An understanding and knowledge of different cultural backgrounds;
- A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team;
- Willingness to embrace the conceptual approach and innovative practices of the IB MYP;
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues across different Humanities disciplines;
- Skill in using differentiation effectively to support students with varying abilities in the classroom.

The jobYou have a replacement appointment as a Teacher of Individuals & Societies (Geography) for a part-time position of 0.25 FTE, starting in November or as close to that date as possible. You will create an inspiring teaching and learning environment where students can grow, flourish, and experience success.
Delivering engaging Geography lessons within the Individuals & Societies curriculum, you will help students develop critical thinking skills, spatial awareness, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. By working closely with colleagues and the wider team and the willingness to work collaboratively within a team, you will support each student in developing their competencies and reaching their full potential. Your contribution will be essential in fostering a supportive and dynamic educational setting that encourages students to explore, inquire, and succeed.
