To further expand our technical services provided at Schiphol Airport, strengthening our Amsterdam team, we are looking for an Aircraft Interior Technician.

About the role

JetSupport is expanding its technical services at Schiphol with a specialized team dedicated to the maintenance and servicing of aircraft seats on board business and commercial aircraft. You will work airside, directly on board or in the hangar, performing inspections, repairs, and modifications to seat mechanisms, structural components, and electrical seat systems.

Your responsibilities

  • Carrying out inspections, repairs, and maintenance on aircraft seats (mechanical & electro-mechanical).
  • Troubleshooting issues with recline mechanisms, actuators, wiring, and seat controls.
  • Replacing and fitting seat covers, cushions, panels, and cabin interior components.
  • Assembling, adjusting, and aligning seat modules according to technical documentation.
  • Executing modifications, upgrades, and service bulletins.
  • Documenting all work performed in JetSupport systems and customer portals.
  • Working in accordance with applicable aviation and safety regulations, both landside and airside.

What you bring

  • At least technical MBO level 2 education through education or experience (mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive technology, service & maintenance, or similar).
  • Skilled in fine mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read and write English (technical documentation).
  • Independent working attitude.
  • Driver's license B.

Airside and safety requirements

  • You must be able to obtain a VGB Burgerluchtvaart (certificate of conduct for aviation).
  • You must be eligible to apply for a Schiphol pass.
