Founded to provide football fans with exclusive access to the match-worn & signed shirts of their favourite players, we now offer an extensive range of collectables from many more sports, including cycling and rugby. It is our mission to become the gold standard for collectables, consistently surprising our clients and customers with innovations driven by marketing ingenuity and technological expertise.

Your role:

As the Social Media Intern at MatchWornShirt, you'll assist in creating social media posts, plans and strategies for our platforms, which have a combined following of +160,000 people. During your time here, you'll learn ins and outs of social media marketing in the sports industry, with a particular emphasis on how to manipulate the algorithms to work in your favour.

We're not just looking for followers - we want to build a community for fans and collectors around the world

Your activities will include:

  • Posting on the social media channels
  • Carrying out daily scans for social media
  • Adding your creative input to the content production process
  • Writing copy for social media posts
  • Planning collaborations on social media with partners
  • Creating posting plans for clubs
  • Assisting with marketing campaigns

Requirements

  • You have a professional level of English (written & spoken) - other languages are a big plus
  • You have previous experience in social media marketing or a related field
  • You are available for a 5 or 6 month internship starting in February
  • You are a creative writer and a storyteller
  • You have a passion for football and other sports
  • You are eager to learn
  • You are dynamic and can adapt to different situations quickly while maintaining solid working ethics
  • You are able to work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines
  • You pay attention to detail
  • You are fun and easy-going
  • You are able to take criticism positively
  • You are a team player

What We Offer

    Multiple times per year we organise formal and not so formal events in our office and elsewhere, which you can later even out in the gym

Our procedure consists of the following rounds:

  1. Introductory video call with our Talent Acquisition Manager (± 20 min)
  2. Assessment round (± 120 min)
  3. In-office interview round 1 (± 45-60 min)
  4. In-office interview round 2 (± 45-60 min)
