Your road to success

Left or right, you make sure we as Athlon make decisions based on the right information, both financial and operational. You will apply technical skills to analyze and enhance financial processes while creating precise documentation working closely with the other business controllers, together, as a team. You can do this as a Business controller with full focus on:

  • control and analyze IT and international cost.
  • collaborate closely with the other business controller to achieve objectives.
  • support preparation and finalization of month-end closing and planning cycle.
  • work on process optimization and process documents detailing within the Safe Framework.
  • further development and improvement of controlling tools.

What do you take with you as Business controller for at least 32 hours per week? Absolutely your analytical capabilities, organizing and planning skills and process orientation. You also have the drive to work in a team that excels through its collaboration. In addition, you have:

  • bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or a related field.
  • at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • experience from a complex international organization.
  • demonstrated ability to develop data, driven innovative insights and action points.
  • familiarity with the Safe framework or willingness to learn.

In addition to building an (international) career, as a Business controller, based on 38 hours per week, you can count on a:

  • gross yearly salary up to € 77.900,- (including holiday allowance and 13th month).
  • employee budget of € 555,- gross per month. This is used, for example, mobility Policy, commuting km's expenses, extra leave hours or monthly payment.
  • excellent pension scheme.
  • potential bonus up to 10% of your annual salary including holiday allowance and 13th month (the bonus is 100% based on Mercedes-Benz company results).
  • thirteenth month.
  • holiday allowance of 8% and at least 26 vacation days.
  • 12-month contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
