Out of Home Masters (OOHM) is part of the Talon Group and specializes in the planning and purchasing of (digital) outdoor advertising. Thanks in part to our unique insights, proposition, working method and the daily negotiations we conduct with all operators/providers, we achieve the best results for our clients. We can now count beautiful brands such as Betcity, Tony Chocolonely, Flink, Coolblue, eToro, Swapfiets, Enterprise, Innocent, Talpa Radio (538, Sky Radio, Veronica) Talpa TV (SBS6, Veronica, Net 5) Linda., Domino's Pizza, Swatch Group, Zeeman and many other advertisers and also (international) media agencies among our regular "happy clients".

THE ROLE_

Take our financial organization to the next level within an international and rapidly growing out-of-home media scale-up.

At
Talon Outdoor Netherlands
, everything revolves around visibility. From digital billboards to bus shelter posters and creative tailor-made campaigns — we make sure brands can't be missed in the streetscape. Recently, we became part of
Talon Outdoor
in London, with offices all over the world and a new office in Belgium.

To further strengthen our financial organization in the Benelux, we're looking for an experienced and accurate
Financial Controller
. In this role, you'll report directly to the
Finance & HR Director Benelux
and work closely with colleagues in the Netherlands, Belgium, and London.

A DAY IN THE LIFE_

As a Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for financial management, reporting, and optimization of our financial processes across the Benelux. You'll combine operational, controlling, analytical, and advisory tasks in a key role within our organization.

Your responsibilities:

• Preparing financial reports and related variance analyses

• Managing monthly and annual closings together with the Finance & HR Director

• Preparing and posting journal entries and accruals

• Optimizing the accounting process together with the Administrative Assistant

• Preparing and reviewing the annual accounts

• Creating cash flow forecasts and analyses

• Improving financial processes and internal controls

• Ensuring compliance with financial laws and regulations

• Supporting internal and external audits

• Processing intercompany bookings

• Setting up and managing the purchase order process

And you have:

• A completed bachelor's or master's degree in finance or a related field

• At least 4 years of relevant experience as a controller

• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus)

• Experience in the media sector (preferred)

• Affinity with HR-related topics (preferred)

• Hours: 32 hours per week

• Salary: €6,000 gross per month (based on 40 hours), depending on experience
