Field Service Cost Estimator - Full Time - Lomm, Netherlands

Join our Sulzer Services team, which is an independent provider of services and equipment repairs for the Turbomachinery industry. Sulzer Services specializes in the repair and overhaul of rotating equipment (gas turbines, steam turbines and, compressors) for the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Power Generation industries. From Venlo (Lomm) or on site, we provide our customers worldwide with solid, customer-oriented, and flexible support for their Compressors, Steam and Gas Turbines. Please join our proud and highly skilled international crew as a Field Service Cost Estimator.

In this role you will be accountable for:

• Setting up technical concepts including cost price calculation, to be used in the tender process for field services for gas turbines, steam turbines and compressors

• Analyzing the customers specifications (RFQs) with our Customer Service and Proposal Engineers, including customer contact if required

• Distribution and updating of tendering information throughout the relevant departments 

• Setting up and keep updating standard cost packages for Field Service

• Based on complete information, calculating cost prices and enter the technical scope and cost in our ERP system

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

• Bring a bachelor's degree in engineering or with a similar technical scope

• Have experience with Field Service-related projects on Rotating Equipment

• Have specific knowledge and experience on cost engineering on gas turbines, steam turbines and/ or compressors repairs and services 

• Be fluent in written and spoken English and preferably in Dutch as well

• Have excellent developed communication, presentation, and project management skills

• Bring a proactive and flexible attitude with the willingness to (limited) international travel

Location:

We are based in Lomm (close to Venlo), which is a great place to live. You can choose to live with the benefits of a city like Venlo, Eindhoven or Nijmegen which are all within an hour of travel or in the quieter villages close to our facility. Venlo is known as a strategic European logistic hub, close to the German border, with the availability of a highway network into all directions and easy access to international airports of Eindhoven, Düsseldorf and Weeze.
