About the contract

Immediate assignment to deliver a major project for a leading consultancy delivering a large-scale EDI and Order Management transformation for a global consumer goods client. We are seeking a hands-on
EDI Project Manager
to join their Breda-based team for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

You'll lead the end-to-end delivery of an EDI implementation project that underpins the client's order management and supply chain operations. Working closely with internal teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders, you'll ensure all project milestones are met on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) implementation and integration across key order management workflows
  • Manage cross-functional teams and project deliverables (scope, budget, quality)
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define and prioritize EDI requirements
  • Partner with ERP teams (SAP, Oracle, etc.) to ensure seamless data exchange
  • Report on progress, risks, and performance to senior stakeholders
  • Support process improvements and contribute to long-term digital transformation goals

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a strong focus on EDI systems
  • Proven background in order management, supply chain, or consumer goods
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination skills
  • Consultancy or client-facing experience is an advantage
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
