I am hiring for an experienced Business Analyst to support two key initiatives within Commercial Insurance. This role is heavily business focused, with an emphasis on policy wordings, renewal processes, and stakeholder alignment.

Your core responsibilities

Policy Wording Library (Netherlands)

  • Lead the definition of requirements for a Policy Wording Library on a vendor platform (Newgen) for the Netherlands.
  • Capture and structure Epics, Features and User Stories, with a strong focus on commercial insurance policy wordings.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure accuracy, consistency and regulatory alignment of policy wordings.
  • Act as a bridge between business users and vendor teams, prioritising business outcomes over technology.

Netherlands Renewal Process

  • Document the end to end renewal process for the Netherlands market.
  • Collaborate with a Business Analyst based in Australia to identify and document key differences between markets.
  • Produce aligned Epics, Features and User Stories to support a harmonised renewal process.
  • Engage senior stakeholders and influence decision-making across large client and placement segments.

Ideal Background

  • Strong domain knowledge of policy wordings, renewals and large commercial insurance placements.
  • Experience working with large enterprise clients and complex insurance products.
  • Comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level, influencing and aligning multiple parties.
  • Strong experience translating business processes into Epics, Features and User Stories.
  • Experience working across geographies and collaborating with offshore or international teams.
