This European FinTech helps businesses grow by simplifying how they manage and move money. What started as a better way to get paid has evolved into a platform that powers growth for over 250,000 companies across Europe.

With a team of 800+ people across multiple hubs, they're scaling fast, and now looking for a Head of Sales who can lead our commercial expansion in the Benelux region. The company is profitable, scaling fast across multiple European markets, and investing heavily in people and product innovation. This is a place for leaders who want to shape the next chapter of European fintech, not just maintain what's already working

The opportunity

We're looking for a commercially driven sales leader who combines structure, energy, and empathy. You'll lead a team of around fifteen Account Executives, guiding them to perform at their best while refining how we sell to mid-market and enterprise customers.

This role is about scaling what already works; sharpening process, building accountability, and growing a team that balances performance with culture.

What you'll do

  • Define and execute a clear sales strategy for the Benelux region.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing direct sales team.
  • Build structured forecasting and pipeline discipline while keeping a people-first approach.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and partnerships to drive go-to-market alignment.
  • Act as the lead negotiator for major accounts and long-term strategic opportunities.
  • Bring data and structure to decision-making, from conversion metrics to market insights.
  • Represent the company externally at key customer and industry events.

What you bring

  • 8–10 years of B2B SaaS/Payments sales experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven record of leading teams that consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • Enterprise sales experience
  • Experience working in a fast-growing and high performing Tech company
  • Strong grasp of structured sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC, Challenger, SPICED).
  • A hands-on leadership style: focused on coaching, enablement, and accountability.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; other European languages are a plus.
