About this vacancy

As a Civil Structures Inspector at TMC, you are responsible for assessing the technical condition of civil constructions such as bridges, viaducts, culverts, locks, and quay walls. You know where to look to identify defects and understand what they mean for the lifespan and safety of an object. You carry out visual inspections (for example, in accordance with NEN 2767 or CUR reports), process findings in inspection reports, and provide advice on maintenance, renovation, or replacement. You work closely with asset managers, administrators, engineers, and maintenance teams. At TMC, you get the opportunity to develop yourself technically within a field that is becoming increasingly important due to aging infrastructure, sustainability, and safety requirements.

What we expect from you
  • A completed vocational or bachelor's degree (MBO or HBO) in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 0 to 5 years of experience in inspections, management, or maintenance of civil structures.
  • Knowledge of NEN 2767, CUR 117, or other inspection guidelines is a plus.
  • You are meticulous, analytical, and have a keen eye for detail.
  • You are independent, responsible, and able to report your findings clearly.
  • Willingness to conduct inspections at various locations in the Netherlands.
