At Rabobank we want to pay for what we use, and to avoid paying for things we do not use. As a Software Asset Manager (SAM) you can directly contribute to that goal by ensuring contract compliancy and providing input for license optimization on a global scale.
 

As SAM you probably will start your day with a short look at your schedule. You will start with a virtual stand-up with your SAM colleagues to discuss ongoing work, possible audits from vendors and topics at hand. After that, you have a call with a Product Owner on an upcoming renewal. After that you have an internal call to prepare the license count together with the Vendor Manager and the business representatives. Together you plan the external call with the external independent advisor on the counting process that will take place later this week. After lunch, there is time for administrative activities regarding recently purchased additional software licenses and you start preparing and sharing reports on SNOW coverage, updating your Software Compliance plans and work on Snow quality control details. Wrapping up the day, you define your priorities for the next day and log-out.

• Supporting the CITO domain stakeholders with regard to license compliancy and optimization

• Accurate administration and record keeping of our software license positions

• Oversight on and reporting about these positions for specific vendors and/or parts of CITO

• Maintaining Software Compliance Plans

You will join the Software Asset Management team which consists of four colleagues. It is part of IT Vendor Management (ITVM) consisting of around 40 colleagues. ITVM is part of the Engineering & Enterprise Tech division within CITO (Chief Innovation & Technology Officer). CITO assures Rabobank can be a rock-solid and innovative technology-driven cooperative bank. With rock-solid we mean running the bank of today stable, secure, and at the right cost level. ITVM is responsible for managing all suppliers within CITO (sourcing, software, hardware) on a daily basis and deliver added value every day within the dynamic IT world of CITO. The SAM team is based in Utrecht, Croeselaan, and has two formal team days per month, of which one at the Utrecht office and one at the Eindhoven office. For the rest, you are always welcome to join the other ITVM colleagues (including the vendor managers you work with) at the Utrecht office.

• (Demonstrable) HBO working and thinking level

• Proven experience in Software Asset Management or License management for at least three years

• Knowledge and experience with SAM tooling, preferably SNOW/Flexera

• You are accurate, analytical and have a good understanding of IT. 

• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language in speech and writing

• Focus on data management, reporting skills and stakeholder management

• Experience in the banking industry is an advantage
